Watch: Danny Cipriani With Outstanding One-Handed Pass In Gloucester Win

The Gallagher Premiership returned this weekend after a three-week absence and Gloucester were in action tonight as they beat the Leicester Tigers 36-13 at Kingsholm with help from the influential Danny Cipriani.

Gloucester ran in five tries from Jason Woodward, Matt Banahan, Fraser Balmain and a brace from the incredible Ollie Thorley to secure the bonus point victory over a struggling Leicester Tigers side.

The win lifts Johan Ackermann’s side to third in the Premiership standings.

Cipriani started the game and he finished his night with nine points from the tee but he also played a pivotal role in setting up a number of tries for his side.

One of those important contributions came for Jason Woodward’s 16th minute try as Cipriani received a long pass from Willi Heinz.

Heinz’s pass was read by Leicester’s Gareth Owen who came out of defence to line up a big hit on Cipriani. However, the Gloucester out-half knew this was coming and when the ball came to him, he produced an open-handed flick-on pass to Mark Atkinson to get his side moving.

Atkinson made the break before sending a flat pass to Woodward to finish off a quality move.

Check it out below:

That wasn’t the only scintillating score from the home side. Thorley’s first try of the game which secured the bonus point showed his superb pace as he broke through from the halfway line.

And he was at it again as he bamboozled the Tigers’ defence with some superb footwork for his second after Ben Morgan produced some ridiculous skills for a man of his size.
