Dan Biggar Misses Conversion From In Front Of The Posts

Dan Biggar

With just three minutes on the clock, Wales took the lead in their World Cup opener against Georgia with a try from Jonathan Davies but Dan Biggar somehow missed the subsequent conversion.

Wales struck early on off a scrum setpiece strike move which saw Davies receive a flat pass to fly through a gap in the Georgian defence and touch down under the posts.

The conversion seemed a formality as Biggar lined up the kick just in front of the posts but his effort came back off the upright.

Biggar has since got those early nerves out of the way by kicking a penalty for his side before he notched a conversion in front of the posts after Justin Tipuric crossed the whitewash.

Wales lead 15-0 after 15 minutes.
