The Times And Dates For The Champions And Challenge Cup Quarter-Finals Have Been Announced

After a hectic weekend of European action, we now know who will be facing off in the quarter-finals of this year’s Champions and Challenge Cups.

In the Champions Cup, Munster host Toulon at home, Leinster will host defending champions Saracens at the Aviva Stadium, Scarlets will welcome La Rochelle to Parc y Scarlets and Racing 92 will have to travel to the south of France to take on ASM Clermont Auvergne.

All four fixtures will undoubtedly be entertaining affairs and there are no runaway favourites in any of the fixtures though one would expect home advantage will play a crucial role on who progresses to the semi-finals.

Before supporters could begin to make their plans for what will hopefully be a cracking weekend of European rugby, we had to wait until the time and dates were confirmed by thankfully EPCR have released them this afternoon.

First up will be Scarlets who have the opportunity to be the first side to progress into the semi-finals when they host La Rochelle at 17:30 on Friday 30 March. Then it’s Munster who face off against Toulon at Thomond Park on Saturday 31 March at 15:15. Clermont’s clash with Racing 92 is the first fixture to be played on Sunday at 14:00 before Leinster’s clash at the Aviva Stadium against Mark McCall’s Saracens finishes off the weekend with a 15:30 kick-off.
