If you never heard of Jordan Conroy before this weekend then you will probably have heard of him by now due to his exploits at the London 7s over the last two days.
Conroy has been wowing the rugby world with his scintillating pace all weekend.
Ireland secured a historic third-place finish at the World Series event at Twickenham, beating regular series sides such as Spain, USA and England along the way. They even showed that Olympic champions Fiji are human by cutting them open on a few occasions. Overall, Ireland showed that they belong at the highest level on the 7s stage.
There was no shortage of excellent Irish performances but Conroy has been grabbing the headlines as he has been wowing fans with his ridiculous pace. One man who was impressed is Dublin gaelic football legend, Bernard Brogan.
Brogan took to Instagram to outline his admiration for Conroy and also to poke a little fun at Carlin Isles, the former USA sprinter and current sevens star, who failed to prevent the Irish speedster from scoring a crucial try.
A comment which Isles didn’t take too kindly to…
We recommend you check out all the comments on Instagram, they’re quite entertaining!
