All Blacks Make One Change For England World Cup Semi-Final

All Blacks Team

The All Blacks have made one change to their starting XV from the team who beat Ireland 46-14 for their World Cup semi-final with England at the Yokohama Stadium on Saturday.

Steve Hansen has brought in Scott Barrett for Sam Cane. Barrett will start the game at blindside flanker which means that Ardie Savea moves to openside.

On the bench, Patrick Tuipulotu replaces the injured Matt Todd and is the only change to the 23 as Cane moves to the replacements.

On the inclusion of Barrett over Cane, Hansen said:

“I’m not going into too much depth about that because otherwise, we’re giving Eddie some information that he’ll probably be able to work out pretty quickly himself. Obviously, it’s strategic; it’s not on form. Sam Cane is playing lovely rugby.”
