The Rugby Championship gets underway on Saturday with South Africa hosting Argentina in Port Elizabeth after the Wallabies welcome the All Blacks to Sydney in the earlier clash.
The All Blacks are the first team to show their cards as they have just announced their matchday 23 to take on Michael Cheika’s men at ANZ Stadium.
Joe Moody, Codie Taylor and Owen Franks make up the front row while the dynamic duo of Brodie Retallick and Sam Whitelock partner up at lock, their 44th start together for the All Blacks.
Liam Squire comes in at blindside for only his fourth Test start while Sam Cane takes the openside position and Kieran Read (c) resumes his role at the base of the scrum.
Steve Hansen has gone with the tried and trusted combination of Aaron Smith and Beauden Barrett in the halfbacks. Sonny Bill Williams returns from his suspension to make his first appearance for the All Blacks after missing the third Test stalemate against the British and Irish Lions. Ryan Crotty will partner Williams in the centre while Rieko Ioane, Ben Smith and Damian McKenzie make up the back three.
