Leinster’s bonus victory over Wasps in their Pool 1 game in Coventry has set up a home clash with Ulster as the Champions Cup quarter-final fixtures are finalised.
The reigning champions’ win at the Ricoh Arena and Toulouse’s failure to secure a bonus point victory over Bath means that they will face inter-provincial rivals Ulster in what will be a mouthwatering clash for all fans of Irish rugby.
Ulster reached the quarter-finals of the Champions Cup for the first time in five years after an enthralling one-point win over Leicester Tigers which saw the northern province impressively claw back a 13 point deficit in the second half.
Munster booked their place in the last eight on Saturday win a solid victory over Exeter Chiefs and they will travel to Edinburgh in what will be a tricky task for Van Graan’s men.
