England head coach Eddie Jones has named two debutants in his starting XV for Sunday’s clash with Wales at Twickenham.
Jones hands Gloucester’s Willi Heinz his first cap at scrum half with Bath’s Ruaridh McConnochie set to start for England on the right wing.
Leicester Tigers’ fly-half George Ford will captain the side on his 56th cap while Anthony Watson will play on the left wing in his first Test since March 2018 following his long-term injury.

The England head coach also includes three uncapped players among the replacements in Northampton’s Louis Ludlam, Harlequin’s Joe Marchant and Saracens’ Jack Singleton.
“We have completed our four weeks of pre-season training and now we have moved into four weeks of warm up games ahead of the Rugby World Cup,” said Jones on England Rugby’s website.
“Our focus has now changed to match preparation and fitness and creating a game that will stand up to the rigours of the tournament where we have to win seven games in sevens weeks.”
