Wales V Ireland: Choose Your Combined XV From Starting Teams

Wales Ireland

Wales and Ireland have named their teams for the Guinness Six Nations Grand Slam deciding game in the Principality Stadium on Saturday.

Liam Williams has been passed fit to play as Warren Gatland named an unchanged side from that which beat Scotland in Murrayfield last weekend.

Captain Alun Wyn Jones will equal Welshman Gethin Jenkins’ total test appearance record as he moves to 134 test caps and to joint fifth in the overall world test appearance list.

Meanwhile, Joe Schmidt has made three changes from the side that beat France last Sunday in Dublin. Former Scarlets player, Tadhg Beirne, is in line to make his Six Nations debut while Rob Kearney returns to replace Jordan Larmour. Sean O’Brien is also named in the back row.

Wales are in line for another Grand Slam title while they would also secure the Triple Crown should they beat Ireland.

Meanwhile, Joe Schmidt’s men could still win the Championship, despite their opening loss to England. As well as victory in Cardiff, Ireland would also need Scotland to beat England in Twickenham.

Ahead of the pivotal match in the Principality Stadium, we are asking you to choose your combined team from the starting lineups in the poll below.
