Stander & Taute Return As Munster Ring Changes For Cardiff Trip

CJ Stander will make his first appearance this season for Munster as they take on Cardiff Blues in the Pro14 on Friday night.

JJ Hanrahan comes into the side at full-back and there is an all-changed centre partnership with Jaco Taute making his first start since returning from injury alongside Rory Scannell.

Hanrahan joins Andrew Conway and Darren Sweetnam in the back three as Duncan Williams and Joey Carbery continue their half-back partnership.

Keith Earls and Rhys Marshall reported knocks during the week and were ruled out for selection.

Meanwhile in the forwards, hooker Mike Sherry returns to the front row alongside Stephen Archer and James Cronin while Jean Kleyn joins Tadhg Beirne in the second row. Peter O’Mahony and Chris Cloete retain their places in a strong backrow.

Kick off tomorrow night in Cardiff Arms Park is 7.35pm. The game will be live on eir Sport, TG4 and Premier Sports.
