Ireland V England: Choose A Combined XV From Starting Teams

Ireland England

The Ireland and England teams for the highly-anticipated Guinness Six Nations opener in the Aviva Stadium on Saturday have been named.

Both Eddie Jones and Joe Schmidt have named strong sides for the clash with England welcoming back Manu Tuilagi for his first Six Nations start since 2013 while George Kruis is favoured to Joe Launchbury.

The Vunipola brothers also return to give Jones’ side an extra element of power and pace.

As expected, Joe Schmidt has opted to play Robbie Henshaw at full-back for Ireland, despite his limited game time in the past few months. Garry Ringrose and Bundee Aki continue their centre partnership while Josh van Der Flier has fought off the returning Sean O’Brien to retain his place in the starting XV.

Ahead of the 4.45pm kick-off tomorrow, we want you to choose your preferred combined XV from the two giants of Nothern Hemisphere rugby in the poll below.
