Munster have a proud record in Thomond Park European competitions however the Leicester Tigers are one team who have always given the southern province a run for their money.
The Aviva Premiership side are the only team to defeat the men in red twice in Limerick in European competition.
The sides renew their rivalry on Saturday in the first part of a double header – a pair of matches which will go a long way in determining who progresses to the knock-out stages.
Munster have named a strong side as they look to keep leap-frog the English side and go top of the group.
Conor Murray, who was this Friday nominated for Ireland’s sportsperson of the year will dictate play from the back of the scrum, joined at half-back by Ian Keatley.
Alex Wootton will make his European debut for the Irish province on the left wing, while Peter O’Mahony, the subject of much transfer speculation this week, captains the side from blindside flanker.

The Tigers have also named their starting XV for Saturday’s clash on Shannonside.
Jonny May and Luke Hamilton return from international duty and come into a team that know that a third ever European win in Thomond Park, would have them well on their way to qualification ahead of the return fixture in Welford Road.
