Dates confirmed for URC quarter-finals

Ulster host Munster on Friday, June 3rd while Leinster take on Glasgow Warriors on Saturday, June 4th in the URC quarter-finals.

The URC have announced the dates for the tournament’s quarter-finals, with all four games being shown on free-to-air TV in Ireland.

Munster will travel to Belfast to take on Ulster at Kingspan Park in the first quarter-final of the weekend, with that game kicking off at 7.35pm on Friday, June 3rd. The remaining three quarter-finals will all take place on Saturday, June 4th.

The Bulls take on the Sharks at 12.45pm Irish time at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, Leinster play Glasgow Warriors at 3.15pm at the RDS Arena in Belfast, while the Stormers face Edinburgh at 6pm Irish time at DHL Stadium in Cape Town.

TG4 and RTE will show the quarter-finals.

TG4 will broadcast Ulster vs Munster and the Stormers vs Edinburgh, while RTE will show Leinster vs Glasgow and the Bulls vs the Sharks.

The winners of Leinster’s game against Glasgow will play at home against the winners of the Bulls’ game against the Sharks, while the winners of the Stormers game against Edinburgh will play at home against the winners of Ulster’s game against Munster.

That means that Edinburgh and Glasgow could host the semi-finals, despite finishing in seventh and eighth place respectively in the URC table.

However, the team with the highest ranking from the league table will host the final, so Glasgow cannot host the final, while Edinburgh will only do so if they play their Scottish rivals in the final.
