Watch: Olly Woodburn Scores Sensational Try In Man Of The Match Performance

Olly Woodburn helped the Exeter Chiefs keep their European Champions Cup hopes alive in some style.

A storming 41-10 win over Montpellier earned Exeter a crucial bonus point in the hunt for progression to the knockout stages of the Champions Cup.

A 7-0 half time lead for the English outfit gave little indication for what was to follow. Dave Ewers’ first half try was followed by five in the second 40 minutes, as Exeter turned the screw on the French side, who could only muster a penalty and a solitary converted try from Nemani Nadolo.

It was Olly Woodburn’s second try that stole the show, however.

The 26-year-old put the ball over right the edge of the Montpellier try-line despite being challenged by Joe Tomale and Henry Immelman simultaneously.

The win moves the Chiefs into second place in Pool 3, one ahead of Montpellier and four behind Leinster, who who have a game in hand.
