Wasps fly-half Danny Cipriani has left his side for their rivals Gloucester after three years spent during his latest stint at the Coventry outfit.
Danny Cipriani’s second run as a member of Wasps RFC has now come to an end after it emerged that the fly-half will sign with Premiership side Gloucester in the hopes of keeping his World Cup dream alive after a time where it was uncertain if he would remain on English soil next season.
Staying in the Premiership will allow the 30-year-old to remain eligible for international selection after he was recalled to the English camp following three years spent on the sidelines.
14 appearance and 64 points scored make up Cipriani’s history as an internationally capped player and with this latest move, he will surely hope to put himself in prime position to be in Eddie Jones’ plans when 2019’s World Cup in Japan rolls around.
