Connacht have announced via their official Instagram page that they have secured the signing of Fiji’s Sevu Reece from Waikato.
Today came the news that 21-year-old winger Sevu Reece has officially signed for Connacht following another impressive season at New Zealand outfit Waikato Chiefs.
Hotly-tipped for the future, Reece was the youngest member of the Barbarians side that played against the Lions last year in the opening game of their tour of New Zealand.
Head-coach Andy Friend had this to say on the side’s latest acquisition. (via The Independent)
“We are delighted to announce that Sevu Reece will be joining Connacht ahead of the 2018/19 season. He is an exciting attacking player who will be a further addition to our back line next season.”
