England have fallen in the latest world rankings after the most recent games which took place in the 2019 Rugby Championship.
The weekend saw Australia get a much-needed win after they secured a victory over Argentina at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane while there was drama in Wellington as the Springboks produced a late effort to snatch a draw against the All Blacks.
That draw against the world’s number one side saw South Africa rise one place in the world rankings thanks to gaining one ranking point.

This sees them overtake England who now drop from fourth to fifth in the world.
The Wallabies’ win keeps them in sixth but they do gain 0.23 ranking points which closes the gap narrowly on the top five in the world.
Elsewhere, Tonga’s 17-25 loss to Samoa in the Pacific Nations Cup sees them drop one place to 14th while Italy rise to 13th.
