Connacht fell to a 20-3 defeat against Leinster at The Sportsground, but the match wasn’t the only loss that the province sustained.
The game was a testy one at times, but the most unsavoury scene was saved for late on.
Substitute Dominic Robertson-McCoy was given a straight red card after a TMO review for a stamp on the head of a prone Josh van der Flier. Given the incriminating footage, Robertson-McCoy could be due a lengthy ban.
For his part, van der Flier was named man-of-the-match for the PRO14 champions, who notched up their third straight win.
