“I think the great expectations are now real.”
Tiger Woods is back with a bang. The remarkable comeback of the 14-time major winner continues this week, as he takes part in the Arnold Palmer Invitational on the PGA Tour.
The 42-year-old finished second during last week’s Valspar Championship and is aiming to go one better this weekend. He’s certainly given himself the perfect platform to do just that.
Woods carded a round of 68 today on Bay Hill Course in Florida to put himself into second place on the leaderboard.
Undoubtedly the moment of the round came when he nailed a 71-foot putt for birdie on the par 3 hole 7. The reaction from the commentators, the crowd, and indeed Tiger said it all.

It’s a great sight to see Tiger back doing what he does best and playing with a smile on his face. We could well see him picking up his first win since 2013 this weekend if he continues on this run of form.
