Zabit Magomedsharipov is on a roll and has no intentions of slowing down. The Russian made his UFC debut in September in Rotterdam where he finished Mike Santiago via rear-naked choke.
After such an impressive debut he was keen on putting on another dominant performance, and he did just that.
He dominated UFC debutant Sheymon Moraes, from the first bell, using slick striking, with some aggressive wrestling and ground and pound. The now 14-1 Russian finished Moraes with just twenty-seven seconds to go in the third round, with an anaconda choke.
Moraes did well in defence for a lot of the fight, but he was outclassed in every department.
It will be interesting who the UFC will match Magomedsharipov up with next, and to see if he can continue his eight-fight finishing streak.
