Watch: Tyron Woodley Accuses Conor McGregor Of Crossing The Line Following Heated Weigh-In Confrontation

Conor McGregor and Tyron Woodley engaged in a Twitter confrontation after a weigh-in stand off.

Although Conor McGregor maybe fighting Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title on Saturday night, he has become involved in a bitter row with Tyron Woodley just 24 hours ahead of UFC 205 in Madison Square Gardens.

McGregor had already stolen the headlines following the ‘almost’ chair throwing incident with Alvarez on Thursday, and he continues to be centre of attention following a strange confrontation with welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley.

After “the notorious” took part in the weigh-in on Friday, McGregor encountered Woodley at the side of the stage, where the American fighter attempted to exchange pleasantries saying “what’s up?”.

McGregor was clearly in no form for Woodley, and attempted to stare him down as the pair stood alongside each other for a few short seconds.

Perhaps “the notorious” was angered after the welterweight champ recorded and posted McGregor’s encounter with Alvarez at Thursday’s press conference on Twitter.

Although the incident seemed to defuse itself, the duo exchanged barbs on twitter, with McGregor labeling Woodley as a “Twitter bitch”.

It seemed as though the incident would be forgotten about, but Ariel Helwani couldn’t resist asking Woodly about the exchange in a follow up interview, where he claimed McGregor crossed a line.
