Despite the fact that Cris Cyborg vs Holly Holm has just been added to the UFC 219 main card, there are still very strong suggestions that Nate Diaz vs Tyron Woodley may also be added to the December 30th show as the main event.
Speaking to The Hollywood Beatdown on Thursday, UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley announced that the fight was almost done as he had already signed his bout agreement and was simply waiting for Nate Diaz to sign his side of the contract.
Diaz’s coach recently released and deleted a post from his Instagram account announcing that the Stockton brawler was coming back and was already in fight camp. However, there are still some doubts with regard to Diaz’s pay demands and whether or not the UFC will agree to them.
Speaking about his potential opponent, Woodley urged Diaz to sign on the dotted line and take his payday.
‘I’m fired up about people that tell you ‘don’t be scared homie’ and then they scared homie!’
