Although Ricky Hatton thinks Conor McGregor has no chance come August, he has stated that he would love to see the Irishman ‘flatten’ Floyd Mayweather.
Like the majority of boxers, Ricky Hatton believes that Conor McGregor has no chance against Floyd Mayweather in their August 26th bout. However, the ‘Hitman’ has also stated that he would love nothing more than to see the Irishman knocking out the undefeated boxer.
Hatton took on Mayweather in December of 2007 with the American completely outclassing the Englishman and eventually knocking him out in the tenth round.

Ever since Mayweather/McGregor was officially announced last week, everyone with even the slightest involvement in the sport of boxing has begun to give their take on the much-maligned bout.
As a former opponent of Floyd’s, it didn’t take long for someone to hunt down Ricky Hatton to get his thoughts on the ‘super fight’.
‘I like everything about Conor but I have to be honest… I can’t see, I’m sorry Conor, I can’t even see it being a fight,’ said Hatton speaking to BT Sport.
So many fighters like myself, like Canelo, like De La Hoya who couldn’t lay a glove on him so I can only see Mayweather all the way.
But I do hope I’m wrong by the way. I hope he flattens Mayweather. I do, I honestly do.’
