In an action-packed UFC 199 card, Mexican Lightweight Polo Reyes scored a huge KO victory over Dong Hyun Kim in the opening bout on the Fight Pass Prelims.
The youngster backed up his exciting UFC debut KO win over Cesar Arzamendia with yet another huge KO victory on Saturday night and – in doing so – announced himself as one to watch at this weight.
Reyes signed for the UFC with a record of 4-2, which wouldn’t have struck much fear in the division. However, the ‘El Toro’ has now finished all six of his victories and looks set to make a run at Lightweight.
The telling punch came at 1:52 of the third round and had Kim out on his feet before Reyes pounced, forcing the referee to intervene and call off the fight.
