With the massive UFC 205 in the rear-view mirror, the eyes of the MMA world are now looking toward UFC 206 in Toronto on December 10th and UFC 207 in Las Vegas on December 30th.
Like their New York-based predecessor, both these cards are absolutely stacked with top quality fights. However, it’s the headline bout of the latter show that will garner the most attention in the coming weeks.
In her first bout in over a year, Ronda Rousey will attempt to wrest the title she once shouldered from it’s new owner Amanda Nunes at the T-Mobile Arena. After such a lengthy spell away from the spotlight, there is huge excitement about the return of the ‘Rowdy’ one but there are also questions about what kind of Rousey we will see at UFC 207.
Will she resemble the dominant force of old? Or a new version, changed for the better in the wake of adversity? Or perhaps a new version, forever damaged by that now infamous knockout loss to Holly Holm last November?
It’s got excitement, uncertainty and intrigue, it’s a can’t miss fight folks.
If you aren’t yet pumped, though, turn your attention to the promo below…
