Watch: McGregor And Mayweather Pulled Apart In Scuffle Outside T-Mobile Arena

The official grand arrival of Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor took place in Las Vegas last night, kicking off fight week for the monumental event scheduled for Saturday night.

Yet again, both fighters provided fans with even more hype to swallow up ahead of their eagerly anticipated showdown this weekend.

McGregor was confronted by his ex-sparring partner turned foe Paulie Mallignaggi, who appeared as if he wanted to iron out some of the pair’s differences face to face for the first time since sensationally quitting the MMA star’s training camp following the leaking of unflattering images taken during sparring contests. More on that story can be found, here.

That was far from the only piece of excitement throughout the evening. Both Floyd and Conor spoke to the media and addressed the many fans who turned out to catch a glimpse of the superstars. Mayweather insisted that his opponent will be unable to last the full scheduled distance of twelve rounds in his company, while the ultra confident Irishman has remarkably whittled his official prediction down to a victory inside the first round.

As Team McGregor landed at the venue to make their way alongside Conor to the plethora of Irish support present they crossed paths with Mayweather and his entourage. What ensued was a scuffle which was on the brink of boiling over into a mass brawl between the two sets of camps.

The undefeated 40-year-old and the UFC lightweight champion were pulled apart from each other’s directions before anything escalated further, which could have had disastrous consequences for both fighter’s take home pay come Saturday night.

McGregor is seen and heard goading his opponent as they become within shouting distance of each other outside the venue of their super fight on Saturday, before the pair are restrained by their respective teammates.

“Are you scared of a face off today?”
