Watch: High Drama As Daniel Cormier & All Other Fighters Make Weight For UFC 220

All 22 fighters have successfully made weight ahead of Saturday night’s UFC 220 event.

Thankfully there were no last minute hiccups and both the eagerly anticipated co-main and main events are all systems go.

Stipe Miocic is seeking to do what no UFC heavyweight champion has been able to do before him in defending his title for a third consecutive time. He comes up against the much-hyped, trail-blazing Francis Ngannou.

Ngannou has pretty much the whole world of MMA talking about him right now. Undoubtedly one of the most feared competitors on the entire UFC roster, since bursting on to the scene the Cameroonian has been demolishing all in his path, most notably Alastair Overeem in his most recent outing with a devastating first-round KO.

When the challenger stepped on to the scales this morning in Boston, his intimidating stature was a sight to behold.

The co-main even sees Daniel Cormier defend his light-heavyweight crown against Volkan Oezdemir.

As ever, there were dramatic scenes as DC weighed-in to make the 205 lbs limit. He was the last fighter to emerge from backstage to take the scales. When he appeared, he was visibly gaunt and underwearless, with two assistants carrying a towel for his privacy.

Upon the announcement that he had made 205 lbs on the button, the room erupted into celebration.

Roll on Saturday night!
