Glover Teixeira took on ‘Suga’ Rashad Evans in the main event of UFC on FOX 19 on Saturday night.
Rashad who was originally scheduled to fight Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, was coming off a loss to Ryan Bader in his sole performance since returning from injury.
Teixeira, known for his finishing ability, now takes his tally to 25-4, with 22 finishes, 17 of those coming in the first round. Certainly not one to sleep on early, Glover possesses the power to put anyone in the division to sleep. Having taken the fight on short notice already, it didn’t seem to bother the Brazilian when the fight was changed to a five round main event fight and it’s obvious he didn’t have designs on fighting that long.

Teixeira called out one of the most feared strikers in the UFC in his post fight interview, Rumble Johnson. “Let’s go baby, Let’s dance,” said a pumped Teixeira to Johnson.
Johnson just smiled, but moments later the powerful light-heavyweight contender tweeted this out.
I don't dance, I fight!!!

This is a fight the UFC should really consider, as it features two of the biggest hitters in the promotion at the moment. It could easily headline a FOX card and would certainly bring a huge viewership.
