With Conor McGregor publicly calling out Floyd Mayweather recently, many have begun to wonder if a super fight between the pair might finally take place in the coming months.
Although Dana White recently stated that the Irishman will not fight again until after his first child is born next May, many suspect that McGregor is using his hiatus as a negotiating tool and could be fighting again inside three months.
Speaking at one of his post UFC 205 parties, the 28-year-old sent out a public challenge to the undefeated Floyd Mayweather stating that he would take the money man on in a boxing match for $100 million in cash.
Speaking about the potential bout, Mayweather Sr. stated that he hopes the fight will take place so that his son could reach the unprecedented milestone of 50-0.
“I think it’ll be good if he does 50 and 0,” Senior said speaking to FightHype.com. “It takes him out the category that Rocky Marciano was in and it’ll probably be another hundred some years before that happens again.”
