Watch: Floyd Mayweather Opens Up About Fight Negotiations With Conor McGregor

It’s a story that many are sick of hearing about at this stage but, it seems as if Floyd Mayweather is very legitimately trying to book a fight with Conor McGregor.

Both Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have fired countless shots at each other since rumours of a fight between the pair first broke over the course of the summer. However, the super fight remains a topic that many are skeptical of with very few believing the bout will ever actually take place.

Speaking on ESPN on Wednesday however, Floyd Mayweather explained how he has attempted to make the fight happen and that it is the only potential bout that he is interested in.

We tried to make the Conor McGregor fight. They know what my number is. A guaranteed a hundred million. We’re the A side. I don’t know how much money Conor McGregor has made. I’m pretty sure he’s never even made 10 million in an MMA bout. But we are willing to give him 15 million and then we can talk about splitting the percentage, the back end percentage on pay per view. But of course, we’re the A side. You know how can a guy talk about 20 or 30 million when he’s never even made 8 or 9 million?

I’m saying right here on this show, Conor McGregor keeps telling everybody he wants the fight. Let’s make it happen.

The only thing that I’m probably interested in, is probably the Conor McGregor fight. I’m a business man and it makes more business sense.
