Watch: Floyd Mayweather Displays Incredible Hand Speed In Final Training Session Ahead Of McGregor Fight

Floyd is ready.

With just two days to go until what is being dubbed the biggest fight in combat sports history, the time for talking is over. Both fighters are now switched into the zone, ready for business after the final press conference ahead of the event was completed last night.

Over the past week or so both Floyd and Conor would have been tapering down their intense training camps as they prepare their bodies for peak physical condition come fight night.

McGregor is in the process of trimming his weight down to make the 154lb limit for this fight, having labelled himself a “170lb Irish gorilla” as recently as last week. Meanwhile, Mayweather must endure no such weight cut for the super-middleweight figure and has been seen indulging in Burger King during fight week. As a result, in the intervening period between the weigh-ins later tonight and by the time the fighters take to the ring on Saturday night, it is likely that the self-proclaimed Irish gorilla will outweigh his opponent by anywhere in the region of around 10-20lbs.

Well, if it is the 29-year-old who holds the advantage in size and power, it is difficult to dispute that his undefeated counterpart holds all the aces when it comes to hand speed and sharpness.

In Floyd’s final training session before the bout he has been filmed prodding around the ring menacingly looking loose and fight-ready. In the short clip below, the 40-year-old lets a few combinations fly which really catch the eye. Each punch flies so fast you would be forgiven for thinking that the recording FightHype camera was put into fast forward.
