On Monday evening, Floyd Mayweather gave his first TV interview since the night he took on UFC champion Conor McGregor in Las Vegas.
It’s now been over two weeks since Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor locked horns in the T-Mobile Arena and, since the night in question, very little has been seen of either of the competitors.
However, on Monday evening, ‘Money’ Mayweather sat down with Steve Harvey to discuss life after the money fight. Discussing his career and the reasons why he took the bout on in the first place, Floyd was arrogant as ever as he stressed his unblemished record.
You have to realise, they couldn’t find anyone in boxing who could beat me, so they had to go to a whole other combat sport and get their best guy, and I had to beat him too.
Mayweather was also asked if he’d spoken to McGregor since August 26th and his answer was as succinct as it gets.
