Watch: Dana White Slams Showtime For Their Treatment Of Himself And Conor McGregor

This past week, Dana White has been up there with the busiest men in the world. There is the matter of the biggest fight in combat sports history this weekend combined with the shocking news that Jon Jones failed a drug test taken prior to UFC 214.

This certainly wasn’t helped by the folks over at Showtime, who are co-promoting the massive Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight this Saturday night alongside Mayweather Promotions, McGregor Sports And Entertainment and the UFC.

Showtime is the broadcaster selling the fight but it has long been established that Stephen Espinoza, more globally recognised as “the weasel” as of this past couple of months, and co. are in cahoots with Floyd and The Money Team.

McGregor has been vocal in his beliefs that Showtime and Mayweather are out to trip him up at every little step possible. Ever since the cutting of the Irishman’s mic at the first leg of the world press tour back in July there has been an underlying current of mistrust and disdain between the parties.

Well, there has been no evidence to suggest that Conor’s beliefs that Showtime are out to get him are to the contrary, while there have been revelations which would tilt one’s views in line with those of the Dubliner.

Dana was in front of one of his many media scrums this week last night and explained how Showtime had given himself and those on Team McGregor just two days notice to get someone to sing the Irish national anthem prior to the first bell on Saturday. The UFC President was not one bit happy with the short notice.

He goes on to jokingly claim he will embark on a “three-week bender” when the fight is finally over, along with sharing his thoughts on a whole range of other topics regarding May/Mac.
