Watch: Dana White Says We Now Shouldn’t Expect To See Conor McGregor Until The Summer

Dana White’s estimations regarding Conor McGregor’s return are getting bleaker and bleaker…

Last month, Dana White repeatedly stated that both the UFC and Conor McGregor himself were planning on the Irishman headlining UFC 219 on December 30th. However, after the lightweight champion found himself in the middle of multiple controversies in recent weeks, the UFC President has admitted that he does not know when the SBG star plans on making his return.

McGregor has not set foot in the Octagon since his UFC 205 win over Eddie Alvarez in November of last year and, given the fact that he was stripped of the featherweight title for not defending it in just under 12 months, fans have been wondering if the promotion will also strip the Dubliner of his 155 lbs belt.

The more time that goes on, the more likely that scenario is to unfold and, although recent speculation had suggested that McGregor would make his comeback in March, speaking to TSN after UFC 218, Dana White stated that it is now likely that we will not see the ‘Notorious’ MMA star until the summer.
