Conor McGregor needs media training like Michael Phelps needs swimming lessons.
Having faced a NSAC hearing regarding a bottle throwing incident in the build up to UFC 202, Conor McGregor was fined $150,000, sentenced to 50 hours community service and also, rather bizarrely, instructed to attend a media training session.
Commission doubling down on this "media training" thing for McGregor. Very bizarre.

Conor McGregor is undoubtedly the most gifted media talent in the history of MMA and arguably, in the history of combat sports. Now three years into his UFC career, it is safe to say that McGregor’s success is as much down to his to his persona as his performances inside the octagon.
However, having been slapped on the wrist for some questionable behaviour in the days leading up to his rematch with Nate Diaz, the ‘Notorious’ Irishman has now been told that his media skills need some improving.
Speaking to Jay & Dan on Fox Sports on Thursday evening, Dana White said that ‘anybody who thinks Conor McGregor needs media training is crazy’ while he broke down laughing at a skit the show had prepared prior to his interview.
Check out the excellent skit and Dana White’s reaction below;
