Tonya ‘Triple Threat’ Evinger was tough and somewhat awkward, but eventually she met the same fate as just about every fighter who has encountered Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino for the last decade-plus.
The end came for Evinger in the third, when Justino hammered the Invicta FC bantamweight champion with a thudding barrage of knees in the clinch, dropping her to a crumpled heap on the floor and drawing an intervention from referee Mike Beltran.
Brutal knees to finish the fight! 💪

With the win, ‘Cyborg’ moves to 18-1, with 1 No Contest, and claims the UFC women’s featherweight title that was stripped from Germaine de Randamie earlier this year. The loss was Evinger’s first since 2011. She came into the bout having won 10 of her previous 11 fights. Her only other fight during that stretch was declared a No Contest.
