Brendan Schaub is really embracing talk of a potential Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather super-fight and, unlike most pundits in the world of combat sports, Schaub actually thinks that the Irishman has a chance.

Host of popular MMA podcast ‘The Fighter & The Kid’, Brendan Schaub, has never hided the fact that he is a huge fan of Conor McGregor. However, with talk of the ‘Notorious’ potentially facing Floyd Mayweather taking off in recent weeks, Schaub’s admiration has hit a new level of fandom.

Speaking about the potential match up, Schaub has consistently pushed the angle that McGregor stands a much bigger chance than anyone is giving him due to his size and punching power. Although most believe Mayweather would undoubtedly embarrass the Irishman in a boxing ring, speaking last month, Schaub even spoke about what would happen if McGregor actually knocked out the undefeated boxer.

People forget Conor’s a lot bigger than Floyd so it’s not a walk in the park for him. It’s not. If Conor connects, there’s a legit shot he can win that fight. Just imagine if Conor knocked out Floyd Mayweather?
