VIDEO: UFC BIG Conference Was Essentially The Conor McGregor Show

You will want to see this one…

We already talked about the “UFC BIG” press junket this week, as well as other inflammatory incidents – and it didn’t disappoint.  Like everything else has in the past two years – it became the Conor Mc Gregor show.  You would think we would get fed up of talking and writing about him nearly three whole months out from his next fight, but he just keeps delivering the outrageous and the hilarious – viral internet gold.

McGregor started with a different champion – Rafael Dos Anjos.

“You are damn right you would take it (a fight with McGregor).  I’d make you rich.  I’d change your bum life.  If you fight me it’s a celebration.  You ring back home, you ring your wife, ‘baby we done it, we’re rich baby’.”

Notorious wasn’t done there.  Next to draw the acid tongue – Donald Cerrone – who had been verbally sparring back and forth with McGregor all week.

The UFC Europe twitter was trying not to wet itself.

You are stiff as a bird.  I’d snap you in half.

The featherweights, they hit like flyweights – so it’s nice down there just destroying them and killing that whole division.  But, I have my eye on that 155llb division and I see them all stuck in the mud in there.  We will see over time. But, have I been wrong yet? Have I been wrong yet?

Cerrone retorted;

We have a monster right here at 145llb Aldo about to beat your ass, you’ve beat nobody yet to think you are coming to 155llb to make a statement, come on man, sit the fuck down.

McGregor just let out a “yahoo” at the cowboy and everything returned to normal.  We thought.  But, we had forgotten he had yet to square off with Aldo.

The opposing champions went forehead to forehead and it appeared as though McGregor pushed off Scarface, driving the Brazilian crazy, throwing his title to the table.  If only the microphones were properly on!  The protagonists continued to make gestures toward one another, McGregor waving goodbye while Aldo made clown faces.

Scarface then walked out of the press conference before a familiar voice surfaced from what had been a turned off mic again;

“What am I supposed to do? He’s gone running again. I don’t know whether he’ll be back. All I know is that I will be there December 12th, like I always am there! People are always saying about ‘the talk and I talk and I talk and I talk’. But guess f**kin what? I back it up! I back it up!”

It was peculiar that the talk of the UFC world had their standoff separately in front of their fellow fighters – but that was explained soon after:

Wow.  Has anyone created as much hype using their mouth as McGregor has.  What a whirlwind week as he offended or took on half of the fighters on stage with him tonight.  The UFC knows what they have in Conor and events like tonight appear to be meticulously planned by the promotion, they know McGregor will continue to instigate feud after feud, dousing every fire with as much petrol as he can.  Good thing he can back it up…
