Video: Dana White Thinks Carlos Condit Won His Fight Against Robbie Lawler

As the UFC universe waited for the judges’ decision after a true battle between Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit for the welterweight title last night, few were completely sure which way it would go, but many suspected that Condit would get the nod.

However, Lawler was given the decision, but many remained outraged and felt that Condit should have been awarded the title.

Nonetheless, public opinion counts for nothing, and Lawler retains his title. However, even Dana White thought it was the wrong decision, as he felt the fight was won by Condit 3-2.

Following a true battle which could have gone either way, there are calls for an immediate rematch. However, Condit’s post-fight comments about retirement may throw a spanner in the works. It is unclear whether that was simply the adrenalin speaking, but the UFC would certainly be interested in ensuring that a rematch happens.
