Conor McGregor gives fans a sneak peek into his preparation for UFC 194 through his personal Instagram account.
With a little under 8 weeks remaining until he steps through the octagon door in pursuit of UFC featherweight title unification, Conor McGregor’s training is approaching it’s most critical phase. His focus now will be fully trained on his December 12th task.
In a number of sparring clips that “The Notorious” posted on Intagram, however, the Dublin work-horse already looks sharp and in tremendous shape. Perhaps this should come as no surprise, after all we are talking about a man who routinely utters the mantra “stay ready so you don’t have to get ready”.
In the sparring session snippets Conor is working with The Ultimate Fighter 22 contestant Artem “The Russian Hammer” Lobov, as well as another of his Straight Blast Gym teammates, Peter “The Showstopper” Queally.
Though the footage is brief, it is extremely encouraging. McGregor looks relaxed, sharp and elusive, while his often discussed movement displays a feline fluidity.
Here is a YouTube compilation of all three clips, which were originally posted on Conor’s official Instagram account.
