The UFC makes its long-awaited debut in Poland this coming April 11th. UFC Fight Night 64 or ‘UFC Poland’, as it is being dubbed, features the return of Mirko Cro Cop vs Gabriel Gonzaga in the event’s featured bout of the evening.
UFC officials have announced the addition of a women’s strawweight bout for the Krakow card. Claudia Gadelha (12-1) will take on Dubliner Aisling Daly (15-5) in what could be a tricky contest for the Drimnagh native.
Daly, once of Cage Warriors fame took a year out from the sport and returned to action late last year after featuring on the UFC’s reality TV show, ‘The Ultimate Fighter’.
Daly, who went 1-1 on the show got another chance to showcase her skills inside the prestigious Octagon defeating Alex Chambers by submission in the first round.
Her opponent did not feature in ‘TUF’ due to weight cut issues. Gadhela was featured in a title elimination bout vs Joanna Jędrzejczyk last December and lost the fight with a controversial split decision verdict.
It is a fight to keep an eye on and one which could ultimately have title implications attached to it.
UFC Fight Night 64 is available exclusively on the UFC’s digital streaming service, ‘UFC Fight Pass’ on April 11th.
