UFC Announces Addition Of European MMA Promotion To Fight Pass

The UFC today announced another huge promotion has joined its catalogue of great promotions already on board with UFC Fight Pass. The European promotion has seen some of the UFC’s biggest stars earn their stripes with them, before joining the biggest promotion in the world.

Cage Warriors, a UK based promotion, is just returning from a hiatus in action to put on a show this Friday, which will stream live on UFC Fight Pass – a huge coup for the company and great news for the MMA scene in Europe. Cage Warriors will now provide a platform for fighters to be watched all over the world.

Tonight’s event is headlined by a middleweight title fight will see Jack Hermansonn put his title on the line against Brazilian Alan Carlos. Hermansson, who is on a six fight win streak, will relish the opportunity to put on a show for the world as he takes on a gritty submission artist in Carlos. Hermansson has six KO victories to his name and is a renowned finisher. He faces a tough test in the shape of Carlos, who fights out of Sweden.

Two of among the biggest names in the UFC in Conor McGregor and Michael Bisping, earned their stripes under the Cage Warriors banner before going on to be stars in the UFC. Bisping, a top middleweight in the UFC, once held the CWFC Light heavyweight title, while McGregor famously held both the Featherweight and Lightweight titles for the promotion, but you’ve probably heard him mention that.

While tonight is the first live event on Fight Pass, the full back catalogue of fights should be added later in the year to make UFC Fight Pass an absolute must have for any European MMA fan.

As a huge boost for European MMA, expect to see some big shows in the coming months, as every talented fighter in every gym in Europe is now vying for a spot on the Cage Warriors cards.
