Two more fights have just been added to what is already a blockbuster UFC 209 card.

On Tuesday evening, the UFC released an official image confirming 10 fights for the March 4th event. However, on Thursday afternoon, MMAJunkie broke the news that another two bouts have been added to UFC 209.

Prior to UFC 208, punters raised their eyebrows at what was the most under whelming pay-per-view card in recent MMA history and, when the event itself actually got under way, it lived up to its billing.

Speaking after UFC 208, Dana White stated that the ‘plane ride home’ was his highlight of the night and that, had the main event been a draw, it would have been the only possible way that the night could have been ‘any sh*tter’.

However, fans finally have a proper pay-per-view card to look forward to once again as UFC 209 is set to go down in less than 9 days with some mammoth names locking horns.

Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson will face off for a second time in the main event while a massive lightweight bout takes the co-main slot with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson set to fight it out for the interim title.

Fans are also excited with a number of other fights on the card with a heavyweight clash between Mark Hunt and Alistair Overeem being the pick of the bunch.

However, the mouthwatering card has now gotten even better as the news has been confirmed that Albert Morales and is due to throw down with Andre Soukhamthath in a bantamweight bout while Cynthia Calvillo is due to make her UFC debut against Amanda Cooper in a strawweight contest.

Albert Morales (6-1-1 MMA, 0-1-1 UFC) is slated to welcome CES MMA bantamweight champion Andre Soukhamthath (11-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) to the octagon while newcomer Cynthia Calvillo (3-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) meets “The Ultimate Fighter 23” finalist Amanda Cooper (2-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in a women’s strawweight bout. – MMAJunkie
