What a card this is turning out to be……
Cris Cyborg will face former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm for the featherweight championship on December 30 at UFC 219.
Earlier this week it was thought that the headliner was going to be Tyron Woodley vs Nate Diaz for the welterweight championship, but it seems that Diaz wasn’t too keen on signing the contract. While we don’t know the main event yet, this could fill that gap.
UFC 219 was a card that needed saving and this fight may just have done that. Cyborg is coming fresh off winning the title against Invicta bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger.
Holm is coming back off a spectacular head kick KO against Bethe Correia, before that Holm had lost three on the bounce.

It is sure to be an intriguing bout as both fighters will certainly be ready to stand and trade.
The card does have some other exciting match-ups, with the return of UFC legend Carlos Condit facing Neil Magny, and UFC’s rising star Cynthia Calvillo faces her toughest test to date, taking on former champion Carla Esparza.
It’s lining up to be another memorable night for the UFC in Vegas.
