Watch: The Terrifying & Very Real Danger Of Rafael Dos Anjos

It is beyond any doubt that, Conor McGregor will face the toughest test of his UFC career on March the 5th…

In recent weeks, the talk of Conor McGregor potentially challenging Robbie Lawler for the welterweight title at UFC 200 has become increasingly frequent. However, it seems many are putting the carriage before the horse in discussing McGregor’s next step as there is a very strong possibility that he will fail against his next opponent.

When it was first announced that the ‘Notorious’ Irishman would be facing Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight title at UFC 196, bookies initially placed the Brazilian as the favourite for the contest. And with good reason.

Rafael dos Anjos faced Anthony Pettis for the UFC Lightweight crown at UFC 185 just under a year ago. Going into the fight, Pettis was the heavy favourite with many believing that the American had a more rounded game than Dos Anjos. As it happened, RDA won the clash via unanimous decision after the 31-year-old dominated the champion for five straight rounds.

After it was announced that the Brazilian had also earned a ‘Performance of the Night bonus’, Dos Anjos revealed that he had been fighting with a severe injury as he had torn his MCL just weeks before.

In the time since, the current lightweight champion has been so impressive that Joe Rogan recently referred to McGregor’s upcoming opponent as the greatest lightweight in the history of the promotion.

Whether that is true or not remains to be seen. However, what is certain is that Conor McGregor will have a serious task on his hands in two weeks time.

The following video has taken off online recently and if the Anthony Pettis clip above didn’t give you enough of an idea of just how dangerous Rafael Dos Anjos is, the following video certainly will.

The man is simply ferocious.
