It was announced Saturday night that UFC 225 will take place in Chicago this coming June.
Former professional wrestler turned MMA fighter CM Punk just happens to be from the Windy City, and he took to Twitter to respond to the announcement.

Although his UFC debut proved to be extremely anti-climatic, where he was mauled by Micky Gall and finished in the first round at UFC 203 in Cleveland, Dana White has said good things about Phil Brooks, saying in an interview before UFC 220:
“I like that guy. He’s a good dude.
“He wants one more. He wants to get another shot. I’m going to give it to him.”
Brooks has been training under Duke Roufus since 2015, and it will be interesting to see how the 39-year-old has progressed since his first outing in the UFC.
People of the MMA community took to Twitter to react to the news that the UFC is returning to Chicago and the likelihood that Brooks will feature on the card.
UFC 225 lands in Chicago on June 9. I'd wager that could be a landing spot for Max Holloway. And probably the return of CM Punk.

Wonder if they load up on Roufusport fighters, based 1.5 hours north in Milwaukee. WW champ Tyron Woodley, Anthony Pettis, Sergio Pettis, Paul Felder, and of course, CM Punk… amongst others #UFC225 https://t.co/9R2jzDQfdE
