Source Close To Conor McGregor Confirms He Believes Dispute Will Be Resolved – Report

Jonathan Shrager is a respected journalist with MixedMartialArts.com and, since the Conor McGregor retirement rift initially broke, Shrager has been breaking reliable exclusives from an apparent source in the Irishman’s immediate family.

Last night, Shrager posted a number of intriguing updates surrounding the McGregor/UFC back and forth that saw the promotion pulling the ‘Notorious’ fighter from the main event at UFC 200.

The journalist was in fact the first to announce that the supposed media event that McGregor had refused to attend was not just a press conference in Vegas, but in fact a mini tour that would involve a week’s travel.

Dana White spoke live on Fox Sports Radio on Tuesday evening and, discussing the unraveling situation with Colin Cowherd, the UFC President confirmed that the tour would in fact involve trips to both Stockton and New York rather than just Vegas.

On Wednesday evening, Shrager broke another massive update as the MMA journalist announced that McGregor is currently in constant communication with the UFC and that he believes the situation will indeed be resolved.

Check out Shrager’s fascinating series of Tweets below;

At this point it looks borderline certain that the featherweight champion does not intend on retiring from the UFC and, judging by some recent posts by his SBG teammates, it appears to be business as usual in their Icelandic training camp.

See if you can spot the trouble maker…
