It’s all gotten a bit nasty between the WWE and the UFC lately. While plenty of people are saying kudos to CM Punk for giving it his best shot, it has been a very divisive issue, with a lot of fighters angry at how someone with no professional experience can come in and vault to second on the card along with making one of the highest paydays of all fighters involved.
That’s not to mention Conor McGregor’s continued happiness to insult the entire WWE roster, which feels awfully like a possible stage setting for him to make a lucrative cameo at a future WWE event.
Randy Orton has thankfully provided some levity to the situation. When asked on Twitter by a fan if he would ever compete in the UFC he gave a funny, yet frank, answer that showed the respect he has for those who step inside the octagon.
I like making $. Over and over. Not once every 6 months….plus I'd prob fake punch the guy and get choked out. #lol https://t.co/xLXt01bzyf

Though the WWE lifestyle is by no means an easy one, with Ken Shamrock, one of very few people who have competed in both organisations, having gone on the record saying that it is more demanding than the UFC, this is a respectful response by Orton.
