Paddy Pimblett lost his Cage Warriors featherweight title tonight, after a unanimous decision loss to Nad Narimani.
The Liverpool-native has been highly publicised since winning the strap, but he was bettered for the majority of this evening’s bout. Although he looked threatening on the ground, the defending champion failed to dominate the fight in any way, and can have no complaints after five rounds of action.
At just 22 years old, ‘The Baddy’ still could have a big future ahead of him. However, he was beaten by the better fighter tonight.
There was a mixed reaction to the bout.
