Nate Diaz has said that both UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and lightweight contender Conor McGregor are both “scared” to fight him and that UFC President Dana White “can get off Conor’s nuts.”
Diaz defeated McGregor at UFC 196 before losing to the Dubliner in a rematch at UFC 202, and although he was overlooked for a trilogy fight with McGregor at UFC 205, the Stockton native reiterated that despite what White claims ‘he’s been a lightweight his whole career.
“Fuck them both,” Diaz told MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani.
“You know both those little bitches are afraid to fight me. That’s why they are fighting each other.”
Diaz also called out Alvarez for refusing to fight him before his UFC 196 win over Conor McGregor and for changing his stance on a fight between the two after his famous win over the Irishman in March.
“Eddie said I was next after Gilbert, then I called him a bitch in the lobby and he turned the fight down repeatedly until I beat Conor,” Diaz added. “Then he called every day asking for the fight. Bitch. What kinda fighters are these guys?”
Diaz has no upcoming fights but said after his loss to McGregor at UFC 202 that he’d be happy to sit and wait for a rematch with McGregor or another big money fight within the organisation.
